Congratulations to Lia Patricia Hiraldo Antigua, recipient of a $7200 scholarship from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada
Saint Paul University (SPU) is proud to present a scholarship from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada(DFATD) to Lia Patricia Hiraldo Antigua of the Dominican Republic, who is studying at SPU as part of the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP).
Patricia arrived in Ottawa this fall to study social communication at SPU. Studying in Canada has always been one of her dreams, she says. She hopes to take full advantage of her time in Canada by visiting major tourist destinations such as Montréal, Niagara Falls and Quebec City, making friends and exploring what Ottawa and its surrounding areas have to offer. She is also looking forward to seeing the fall colours for the first time and feeling the cold Canadian winter air that she has heard so much about.
The SPU community wishes Patricia a wonderful stay in Canada and every success in her studies.
